A rapidly growing B2B SaaS company is looking for an Account Manager to take ownership of its growing SMB customer portfolio.
This is not a traditional high-touch Account Management position. With approximately 150–200 customers to manage, the successful person will combine commercial account management and customer success with automation, CRM workflows, data and AI to create a scalable approach to customer engagement.
You'll own customer revenue performance across your portfolio, with responsibility for retention, renewals, adoption, customer health and expansion.
What you'll be doing
- Owning a portfolio of approximately 150–200 B2B customers.
- Managing renewals, retention and expansion.
- Monitoring customer health, usage, engagement and churn indicators.
- Building strong relationships with key customer stakeholders.
- Identifying and qualifying growth/upsell opportunities.
- Creating proactive retention plans for at-risk customers.
- Building scalable customer journeys and engagement strategies.
- Using CRM automation, workflows and AI tools to improve efficiency.
- Developing digital customer touchpoints including campaigns and webinars.
- Maintaining accurate CRM records and commercial forecasts.
- Working closely with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Support and Onboarding.
- Helping shape the processes and playbooks required to manage a growing customer base at scale.
What we're looking for
Ideally someone with experience in B2B SaaS/software Account Management or Customer Success who has owned renewals and retention across a sizeable customer portfolio.
You'll need to be commercially minded, comfortable discussing renewals and growth, but equally interested in how technology can improve Account Management.
Experience with CRM automation, customer lifecycle workflows, AI tools or building scalable Customer Success/Account Management processes would be particularly interesting.
This could suit someone currently working as an Account Manager, Customer Success Manager, Commercial Account Manager or Client Success Manager who wants greater ownership and the opportunity to help build a function rather than simply inherit an existing playbook.
Pay: £40,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
