We are Tommies Childcare. Since 1998, we have provided exciting and memorable early years experiences for children aged 0 – 5 years. When you work at Tommies, you’ll be doing one of the most important jobs in the world: nurturing, protecting and helping children grow into well-balanced, happy and self-assured adults.
Your role as a delivery driver is crucial in delivering hot nutritious food across our settings in Coventry, Nuneaton and Kenilworth.
Duties
- Collecting food from main nursery kitchen and delivering to different locations.
- Safely operate commercial vehicles with manual transmissions to complete daily delivery routes.
- Deliver products efficiently to various Nursery locations, adhering to assigned routes and schedules.
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers professionally, answering questions, and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company policies to ensure a safe working environment.
- Completing checks to ensure the van is organised, clean and roadworthy, and that delivery cases are secure before getting out onto the road
- To drive safely in a variety of locations and conditions
Requirements
- Full and Clean Uk Driving Licence. You MUST also be over the age of 25
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to organise tasks efficiently
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities
