Store Manager – Joe Blake’s, Villiers Street (Charing Cross)
Joe Blake’s is recruiting a Store Manager to lead our Villiers Street location.
This is a sales-led, customer-focused role. We’re looking for someone who can bring energy to the counter, engage confidently with customers, sell great coffee and artisan doughnuts, and lead a strong team.
Pay starts at £16 per hour, plus monthly bonuses and tips.
A full-time 40-hour contract is available.

We focus on excellent coffee, fast service, strong product presentation and friendly customer engagement. Days are busy, energetic and hands-on, with plenty of coffee to make and customers to serve.
The role
As Store Manager, you’ll be responsible for:
- Leading and coaching the team
- Delivering fast, friendly customer service
- Driving sales through confident product recommendations
- Selling our speciality coffee and artisan doughnuts
- Maintaining high standards across coffee, service and store presentation
- Growing revenue and improving store performance
- Creating a positive, reliable team culture
A big part of the role is personal selling. You’ll be comfortable speaking to customers, recommending products, upselling doughnuts with coffee, promoting boxes and making the counter feel exciting.
You’ll need
- Store Manager or Assistant Manager experience
- Good speciality coffee knowledge
- Confidence selling and engaging with customers
- Strong communication and coaching skills
- A calm, organised approach in busy periods
- A genuine interest in service, speed and product quality
- Head Barista experience is desirable.

You’ll work with quality coffee equipment, including:
- Mahlkönig grinders
- Puqpress
- La Marzocco Strada espresso machine
