Job Overview
We’re looking for a reliable and hands-on Warehouse Assistant / Guillotine Operator (full training provided) to join our friendly and fast-paced production team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys practical work, takes pride in accuracy, and wants to be part of a supportive team where their contribution really matters.
You’ll be responsible for operating our guillotine cutting machinery, ensuring materials are cut accurately and safely, while helping keep production running smoothly day to day.
Experience is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Operating the guillotine machine to cut materials accurately to specification
- Carrying out routine checks and basic maintenance to keep machinery running efficiently
- Using hand and power tools for preparation and assembly tasks
- Working closely with colleagues to meet daily production targets
- Handling materials safely, including regular heavy lifting
- Keeping your work area clean, organised, and compliant with health & safety standards
- Recording production output and reporting any faults or issues promptly
What We’re Looking For
- Confidence working with machinery
- Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience (advantageous but not essential)
- Comfortable with heavy lifting as part of the role
- Basic mathematical knowledge to support accurate measurements and cutting
- A strong eye for detail and commitment to quality
- A reliable team player with good communication skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
Working Hours
Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
Friday: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Overtime available
