Scare Actors & Spooky Walk Guides – Hellfire Caves Fright Nights Fixed Term Contract | £20/hour (night scare acting) | £16/hour (daytime spooky walk)
Fancy scaring the living daylights out of people in a 250-year-old underground cave complex? We're bringing Hellfire Caves' history to life this Halloween — and we need performers who can commit to the bit.
The gigs:
- Night Scare Acting – 5 immersive fright nights (24, 28, 29, 30 & 31 Oct), £20/hour. 4/5pm - 10/11pm. Full-on scare character work in the caves after dark.
- Daytime Spooky Walk – same dates, afternoons, £16/hour. A gentler, family-friendly experience for younger visitors.
What you'll do: Bring characters to life, keep guests entertained (and terrified), stay in character all shift, help with costume/makeup/prop setup, and work safely alongside the rest of the cast.
What we're after: Acting experience is required, we also want confidence, charisma and a love of theatre-kid chaos. Acting, dance or public speaking background is a bonus. You'll need to be free evenings/weekends through the event dates and comfortable working underground in the dark.
We are also looking for a number of imposingly sized tall actors as part of this gig.
Pay: £14.00-£20.00 per hour
