We're looking for an experienced and motivated IT Support Technician to join our growing team in Hucknall. This role combines office-based, remote, and onsite support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and building strong relationships with clients.
What You'll Be Doing
As an IT Support Technician, you will:
- Provide support for escalated technical issues while supporting the wider service desk when required.
- Deliver remote and onsite technical support to a diverse range of clients.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, networking, and Microsoft 365 issues.
- Proactively maintain and improve client IT environments.
- Manage and update support tickets, ensuring clients receive excellent communication throughout.
- Create and maintain accurate technical documentation.
- Assist with IT projects, hardware deployments, and software rollouts.
- Evaluate and test new technologies, services, and solutions.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to share knowledge and maintain service excellence.
- Identify opportunities to improve client systems, security, and operational efficiency.
About You
We're looking for someone who is technically capable, client-focused, and eager to continue learning.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Minimum 3 years' experience in an IT Support or MSP environment.
- Strong experience supporting Microsoft Windows desktop and server operating systems.
- Experience administering and troubleshooting Microsoft 365 environments, including: Exchange Online, Entra ID, SharePoint Online and Microsoft Team.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, including: Device deployment, Endpoint management, Policy administration and Security configuration
- Good networking knowledge, including: TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP, Switching, Wireless networking, Routers and firewalls
- Experience using ticketing and remote support systems.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable Skills
- Experience supporting Apple devices and macOS.
- Solid knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.
- Experience with Microsoft Defender for Business or Microsoft Defender XDR.
- Experience with backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Relevant Microsoft, CompTIA or vendor certifications.

Requirements
- Ability to reliably commute to Hucknall (NG15 7HP) or relocate before starting.
- Full UK driving licence.
