Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Welfare Cleaner to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across welfare facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all users. Duties
- Perform regular cleaning of welfare facilities, including toilets, washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
- Disinfect surfaces, fixtures, and fittings to maintain hygiene standards
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet rolls as needed
- Ensure waste is disposed of appropriately and bins are emptied regularly
- Maintain cleaning equipment in good condition and report any maintenance issues
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times during cleaning activities
- Record completed tasks and report any concerns or damages to management promptly
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is preferred
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good organisational skills and reliability
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning operations
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- A proactive approach to maintaining a safe environment for all users
