We are recruiting a Lead Barista to join the team at Coffee on The Rabbit Run. Coffee/ drinks is a vitally important and constantly growing area of our business.
Responsibilities:
- Staff training/ development. Ensuring that every drink that crosses the bar is perfection.
- Menu development. Working alongside management to create a top selling, seasonal specials menu.
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies
- Ensure that the machine in running efficiently / is cleaned correctly and that the grind is correct.
- Be a point of contact with our coffee suppliers for maintenance / machine issues.
- Ordering. Ensure that stock levels are kept and stored correctly.
- Follow food safety guidelines and ensure proper food handling procedures are followed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required
- Ability to handle food safely and follow proper food service procedures
- Strong customer service / teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
