AMS are on the hunt for a Mobile Cleaner. (no experience needed!)
Driving to multiple sites cleaning. (Company vehicle and fuel card included).
Pay £20,280 Per Annum based on 30 hours per week OT paid at hourly rate midweek and £15ph weekend working.
Hours: 30 per week paid minimum with the opportunity for overtime
Job Overview
As a Mobile Cleaner, you will play a vital role in maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various locations, ensuring that spaces are organised, sanitised, and visually appealing.
This mobile support cleaning position requires flexibility and the ability to work in multiple environments, such as offices, medical environments, schools, and other commercial establishments. Your attention to detail and dedication to delivering exceptional cleaning services will contribute to a healthier and more inviting atmosphere for our clients. A lot of our jobs are evenings and some weekends so whilst hours aren’t limited to these times please expect to working in the evenings.
Responsibilities
General Cleaning: Perform thorough cleaning tasks, including dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfecting surfaces to maintain a pristine environment in assigned locations.
Flexibility in Locations: Travel to different sites based on the cleaning schedule, ensuring that all designated areas are properly cleaned and maintained. Maintain a company vehicle in a presentable manor, performing regular vehicle checks.
Quality Control: Perform regular inspections to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and address any issues promptly.
Health and Safety Compliance: Follow established safety protocols, using cleaning chemicals safely, and using personal protective equipment when necessary.
Client Interaction: Maintain a professional and courteous manner when interacting with clients or occupants, addressing any concerns and ensuring their satisfaction with the cleaning service.
Inventory Management: Keep track of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring that stock levels are sufficient for completing tasks efficiently.
Inductions: Welcoming new staff, introducing them to the site and ensuring they know how to fulfil the role duties.
Requirements
Experience: Prior experience in cleaning or housekeeping roles is preferred, but not mandatory. Full training will be provided.
Full UK Driving Licence: Mandatory
DBS will be provided by AMS.
Note: The job description may be subject to modification or expansion based on business needs and the evolving nature of mobile cleaning services. As a Multi Site Cleaner, you will contribute significantly to the positive reputation of our cleaning company and the satisfaction of our clients, this job will require some occasional weekend cleaning. We do cover the whole of the South West however typical areas are Southampton, Bournemouth and Salisbury, We will always try to limit the miles where possible and use the cleaner closest.
Hours are salary based and will work of a month by month basis, some weeks may be busier and some quieter, however we guarantee a salary of 30 hours per week. If over the month your hours worked are less than that you will be paid basic salary anyway, if they work out more you will be paid overtime. Please note a deduction of 15 minutes at the start and end of each day is deducted for ‘fair commute to work’ timings. Otherwise Travel time is paid. Breaks are unpaid.

- You are aware this job will require flexibility a lot of evening working and weekend cover we have to cover holiday and sickness last minute so flexibility is key.
- You are comfortable driving and aware as a mobile cleaner you may end up travelling in your company vehicle a fair distance including to Wiltshire, Dorset and Somerset, whilst a lot of our contracts are yeovil we do have some further afield, we will always try to get the cleaner closest to the job to minimise travel but not always possible.
