Beacon Detection is an established fire and security company operating across Wales and the West. We support clients in education, healthcare, manufacturing, commercial and residential sectors, delivering installation, commissioning, maintenance and remedial works.
We’re strengthening our engineering team and looking for an experienced, reliable engineer who takes pride in their work and wants a steady, professional role.
The Role
As a Fire & Security Engineer, you will:
- Install, service and maintain fire & security systems
- Carry out routine maintenance, fault-finding and remedial works
- Work mainly across South Wales and Powys, with occasional wider travel
- Represent the company professionally on all sites
What We’re Looking For
- 4+ years’ experience in fire & security
- Able to complete basic containment and first-fix work (PVC conduit, trunking, tidy cabling)
- Competent with Pyronix, Hikvision, Advanced, Hochiki, C-Tec and Paxton
- Strong IT and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and pride in delivering neat, professional work
- Clean driving licence
- Able to pass security screening
