Job Summary
We are looking for enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking Seasonal Event Crew Members to join our team at the Rougham Estate Pick Your Own Sunflower Field. This is a varied, customer-facing role helping to deliver a safe, enjoyable, and memorable experience for visitors during our busy summer season. Successful applicants will be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions and willing to assist with a wide range of event and site duties. This event is operational 7 days a week, so weekend work and weekday work will be required. You will not be required to work 7 days a week, staff with be in a rota.
Duties
- Welcome and assist visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
- Operate tills and process customer transactions accurately.
- Rent out, collect, and manage equipment for visitors.
- Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of the site.
- Carry out litter picking and general housekeeping duties.
- Support the smooth day-to-day running of the event.
- Assist with visitor enquiries and provide information when required.
- Run errands and undertake general operational tasks around the site.
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure excellent customer service.
- Follow health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assist with opening and closing duties as required.
Requirements
- Must be aged 18 years or over.
- Positive, friendly, and approachable attitude.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team.
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods in varying weather conditions.
- Flexible and willing to undertake a variety of tasks.
- Ability to remain calm and professional in a busy environment.
- Previous experience in customer service, retail, hospitality, or events is desirable but not essential.
- Physically fit and capable of being on your feet throughout the working day.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
