We're CJT Timber Sourcing Ltd – a long-established, fourth generation family run timber business based in North Wales, and we're looking for an Administration Assistant to become part of our friendly and supportive office team.
The Role
This is a varied office-based role where no two days are the same. You'll provide administrative support across the business, helping our Sales, Production and Transport teams while ensuring our customers receive excellent service.
Whether you're answering customer enquiries, preparing quotations or keeping records up to date, you'll play an important part in the day-to-day running of our business.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing general administrative support to the office team.
- Answering incoming telephone calls and directing enquiries.
- Preparing customer quotations and processing administrative paperwork.
- Responding to customer enquiries in a professional and friendly manner.
- Maintaining accurate records using Microsoft Excel and company systems.
- Assisting with arranging customer deliveries and liaising with our transport providers.
- Working closely with our Sales and Production teams to support daily operations.
- Developing a good understanding of our products so you can confidently assist customers and colleagues.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is organised, enthusiastic and enjoys working as part of a team.
Ideally you'll have:
- Previous experience in an administration, office or customer service role.
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and manage a varied workload.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Experience of Sage Accounts would be an advantage, but full training can be provided.

Hours & Benefits
- Monday to Thursday 8:00am to 5:00pm, and 08:00 to 3:00pm on Fridays.
- £12.75–£13.00 per hour.
