Part‑Time Galley Chef/Cook
We’re looking for a confident, reliable cook to join our Sailing Club team and run our small galley during busy sailing days and club events. This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys producing good, hearty food in a friendly, community setting with the added opportunity to run the galley as a franchise operation for the right candidate.
What you’ll do
- Prepare and serve simple, high quality galley meals (hot dishes & snacks).
- Keep the galley running smoothly, safely, and cleanly.
- Manage stock, ordering, and basic menu planning.
- Provide a welcoming, positive presence for members and visitors.
What we’re looking for
- Experience in a kitchen or catering environment.
- Confidence working independently in a small galley.
- A calm, organised approach - especially during busy sailing days.
- Food hygiene, Allergen certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Interest in developing the galley offering and potentially taking on a franchise model.
Hours & Pay
Part‑time, mainly weekends with occasional event evenings. Competitive hourly rate depending on experience.
