Hello, we're Evaris Care.
Our Community Teams are the familiar faces walking through the doors of homes across our local area every single day.
And we're looking for some more lovely local people to join them.
We're looking for people who are kind, dependable, outgoing and perhaps just slightly bonkers (only slightly).
Because while providing great care is incredibly important, so is having a laugh, making someone smile and bringing a bit of life through the front door.
What does a Community Care Worker actually do?
You'll support people to continue living safely and independently in their own homes.
That might mean helping someone get washed and dressed in the morning, supporting them with their medication, making breakfast or preparing their evening meal.
But that's only part of it.
You might also make a cup of tea and have a natter. Listen to a story you've already heard three times. Sing terribly along with the radio. Notice that someone isn't quite themselves today. Or simply be the person they're really pleased to see walking through the door.
The little things matter here.
You'll also keep accurate digital records of each visit, so the whole team knows how our customers are doing and what support they've received.

Hours that can work around life
Our Community Teams generally work across:
Mornings: 7:30am – 2:30pm
Evenings: 3:30pm – 10:30pm
We're recruiting for full-time, part-time and bank positions, so whether you're looking for regular hours or something more flexible, we'd still like to hear from you.
A couple of important bits…
You'll need to drive and have access to your own vehicle.
Our customers live across the local community, so travelling between homes is part of the job.
You'll need to genuinely like people.
Experience is useful. Character matters more. We can teach you how we do things at Evaris; we can't teach someone to care.
You'll need the right to work in the UK.
Unfortunately, we're unable to offer visa sponsorship at present.
