Responsibilities
- Lean and manage front of house operations (breakfast, lunch, dinner and conference and banqueting
- Deliver exceptional guest service standards
- Train, motivate and support a small front of house team
- Oversee floor service, reservations and guest relations
- Ensure smooth coordination between kitchen and reception teams
- Manage opening and closing procedures including end of day financial reconciliation
- Maintain high presentation and cleanliness standards throughout the front of house areas
- Meet liquor GP targets through effective stock control and ordering processes as well as up selling
- Assist with recruitment, onboarding and team development
- Handle guest feedback professionally and proactively
- Drive a positive and energetic service culture
Skills
- Previous experience as a Front of House Manager or senior supervisor within a hospitality environment
- Experience of delivering weddings and other conference and banqueting related events
- Strong bar (cellar management, line cleaning) and floor experience essential
- Confident managing service in a busy restaurant environment
- Engaging, vibrant and personable character with excellent communication skills
- Ability to confidently interact with guests and build repeat business
- Strong leadership and organisational skills
- Hands-on approach with excellent attention to detail
- Personal Licence Holder preferred but not essential
- Passion for food, beverage and hospitality
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
- Must be able to commute to property
Pay: Up to £32,000.00 per year
