We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cafe Assistant to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring our café runs smoothly and efficiently, providing exceptional service to our customers. As a Cafe Assistant, you will be involved in various tasks, from food preparation to maintaining a welcoming environment for our guests.

Working hours Tues and wed - 8am -245pm
Duties
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items are prepared according to safety and hygiene standards.
- Sandwich Artist
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, including dining spaces and kitchen facilities.
- Provide excellent hospitality by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Support the team in serving food and beverages promptly while ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Help with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members during busy periods to ensure efficient service delivery.
- Assist in catering events as required, ensuring all aspects of service meet our high standards.
Experience
- Previous experience in a café or restaurant setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and an understanding of food safety practices are advantageous.
- Experience in hospitality or customer service roles will be beneficial for this position.
- Skills in bartending or catering can enhance your application but are not mandatory.
