Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas according to established recipes and customer specifications
- Ensure all food preparation meets safety and hygiene standards in compliance with food safety regulations
- Manage the kitchen station efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout your shift
- Assist with meal preparation, including ingredient handling, dough stretching, topping application, and baking
- Support the team in serving customers promptly and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, notifying management when stock needs replenishing
- Maintain equipment functionality and report any maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or kitchen roles within a restaurant or similar setting
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques specific to pizza making and general meal preparation
- Familiarity with food safety practices and hygiene standards in a commercial kitchen environment
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends
