Maintenance Person with Driving Duties
Location: Little Rays Nursery, Ballymena
Hours: 7:30am – 3:30pm, Monday to Friday (5 days per week)
Little Rays Nursery is seeking a reliable and hardworking Maintenance Person with Driving Duties to join our friendly team.
This varied role will involve carrying out daily school runs and ensuring the nursery premises, grounds, and equipment are maintained to a high standard.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct school pick-ups and drop-offs safely and efficiently.
- Carry out general maintenance and repair tasks around the nursery.
- Ensure outdoor areas are clean, safe, and well maintained.
- Complete routine health and safety checks.
- Assist with setting up rooms and equipment as required.
- Report any maintenance issues requiring specialist attention.
- Support the nursery team with additional practical tasks when needed.
Essential Requirements:
- Full, clean driving licence.
- Good practical maintenance skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in a maintenance, caretaking, or facilities role.
- Experience driving children or working within an educational or childcare setting.
