Job SummarySelf-Employed Commercial Cleaner / Subcontractor – Medway
Jabulko Cleaning Ltd is building a reliable pool of self-employed cleaners to support upcoming commercial cleaning contracts across Chatham, Gillingham and the wider Medway area.
This is a self-employed subcontractor position, not a guaranteed-hours employed role. Cleaning assignments will be offered as they become available.
Typical work may include:
- Office and commercial cleaning
- Shops and business premises
- Communal areas
- Deep cleaning
- End-of-tenancy cleaning
- Other general commercial cleaning assignments
Requirements:
- Previous professional cleaning experience preferred
- Must be reliable, punctual and professional
- Must have the legal right to work in the UK
- Must have your own reliable transport and be able to travel between cleaning sites
- Must normally provide your own cleaning equipment and supplies, unless otherwise agreed for a particular contract
- Smartphone required for communication, job information and site instructions
- Must be able to work independently and complete work to a high standard
- References may be requested
- Must be willing to provide identification and relevant documentation before accepting assignments
- Public Liability insurance is preferred for subcontractors
- Must notify Jabulko Cleaning Ltd as early as possible if unable to attend an accepted assignment
Self-employed arrangement:
You will operate as an independent subcontractor and will be responsible for your own tax and National Insurance obligations. Work is offered on a job-by-job basis depending on client requirements and availability. There are no guaranteed hours.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Location: Chatham, Gillingham and surrounding Medway areas
We are particularly interested in cleaners who would like to build an ongoing working relationship with Jabulko Cleaning Ltd as we add new commercial cleaning contracts.
Pay: £16.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 2.0 per week
