We are currently seeking experienced and highly motivated Therapeutic Radiographers to join our Bank Radiotherapy Team, supporting the delivery of safe, accurate, and compassionate radiotherapy services to patients undergoing cancer treatment.

As a Bank Therapeutic Radiographer, you will play an essential role in delivering high-energy radiotherapy treatments and supporting patients throughout their treatment journey.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team alongside Consultants, Physicists, Dosimetrists, Nurses, and fellow Radiographers, you will contribute to the planning, verification, delivery, and quality assurance of radiotherapy treatments while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and care.
You will also have opportunities to contribute to service developments, implementation of new technologies, and ongoing quality improvement initiatives within the department.
- Deliver safe, accurate, and high-quality radiotherapy treatments in accordance with departmental protocols and professional standards.
- Provide specialist radiographic expertise across localisation, treatment planning, dosimetry, treatment verification, and treatment delivery processes.
- Support the provision of a seamless patient pathway throughout radiotherapy treatment.
- Perform quality assurance and quality control activities to ensure safe and effective treatment delivery.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best possible patient outcomes.
- Investigate and resolve patient-related clinical and technical issues as appropriate.
- Maintain accurate clinical records, documentation, and treatment data.
- Support the training and supervision of radiographers, administrative staff, and students where appropriate.
- Contribute to service improvement initiatives, clinical projects, and implementation of new technologies.
- Maintain professional competence through ongoing education, training, and continuous professional development.
- BSc (Hons) in Radiotherapy and Oncology or equivalent recognised qualification.
- Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
- Recent experience working as a Therapeutic Radiographer within a radiotherapy department.
- Sound knowledge of radiotherapy techniques, treatment delivery, and quality assurance processes.
- Strong understanding of patient safety principles and radiotherapy protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
- Experience working with modern radiotherapy technologies and advanced treatment techniques.
- Experience participating in service development or quality improvement projects.
- Postgraduate study or specialist training relevant to radiotherapy practice.
- Experience supporting education and training activities within a clinical environment.
