About the Role
We are recruiting for an experienced Sous Chef to join our client's busy and fast-paced hospitality team. These are excellent opportunities for passionate chefs who thrive in a high-volume kitchen environment and are committed to delivering exceptional food and service.
Working Hours

Full-time, permanent position

5 days out of 7 on a rota basis, including weekends

Typical working hours are 12:00pm – 9:00pm, with occasional 11:00am starts
Key Responsibilities

Prepare, cook and present high-quality dishes to a consistently excellent standard.

Support the day-to-day running of the kitchen and ensure smooth service.

Assist the Head Chef with food preparation, service and menu delivery.

Manage and maintain your designated kitchen section.

Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency.

Supervise and support junior kitchen staff where appropriate.

Help train and develop members of the kitchen team.

Ensure food hygiene, health & safety and cleanliness standards are maintained at all times.

Assist with stock control, ordering, stock rotation, storage and waste management.

Work efficiently and effectively in a busy, fast-paced kitchen environment.
We're looking for candidates who have:

Previous experience as either a Sous Chef

A genuine passion for producing high-quality food.

Excellent knowledge of food hygiene, health & safety and kitchen best practices.

The ability to remain organised and perform well under pressure.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.
-
A positive attitude, reliability and excellent attention to detail.

Leadership skills and experience supervising others (Sous Chef applicants).
-
Own transport is essential due to the location of the venue.
