Salary details: Grade 9, £40,778 - £45,092 plus £3,200 pa market supplement (pay award pending)

The City of Doncaster Council is a confident, ambitious organisation which puts improving the life of its residents at the centre of everything we do. You have a opportunity to be part of this in the role of Corporate Landlord Fire Safety Officer.
We are seeking an experienced fire safety advisor/risk assessor to join our Facilities Team. You will be part of a small team with responsibility for a portfolio of 80+ properties, including Grade 1 and 2 Listed buildings, that support front line service delivery.
In this role you will work with on-site building managers to carry out fire safety audits and fire risk assessments and plan and implement fire safety measures. The work is very varied with different challenges every day and you will be responding to a range of reactive issues, investigating the cause and identifying appropriate solutions.
What we are looking for:

Level 3 NEBOSH Fire Safety & Risk Management Certificate qualifications.
- Institute of Fire Engineers registered Fire Risk Assessor is desirable.
- Willing to work towards Level 4 Fire Safety Certificate (Fire Auditor).
- Extensive practical experience of managing fire safety including the preparation and review of fire risk assessments and development of fire safety procedures.
- An enthusiastic, reliable and resourceful person with the ability to work on their own initiative, prioritising and managing their own workload effectively.
- Proficient ICT skills, including Microsoft Office and computerised databases.
