Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Healthcare Assistant to join our team. Duties
- Assist residents or clients with personal care tasks such as washing, dressing, and mobility support
- Support the implementation of individualised care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals
- Help with medication reminders and basic health monitoring under supervision
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any concerns to senior staff
- Facilitate social activities and companionship to promote emotional well-being
- Support with household tasks such as light cleaning and meal preparation where necessary
- Travel between different care locations or clients’ homes using a valid driving licence, if applicable
Skills
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Good organisational abilities to manage multiple responsibilities efficiently
- Basic IT skills for maintaining electronic care records and documentation
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to support vulnerable individuals
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently when required
- Knowledge of care plans and home care procedures is advantageous
- Driving skills are preferred to enable flexible travel between locations
