The post holder will play a central role in driving clinical excellence, supporting and developing nursing staff, and contributing to the wider strategic direction of the service. You will work as part of a collaborative senior leadership team, ensuring services are safe, effective and responsive, while delivering care aligned with our commitment to compassion, quality and continuous improvement.

The Lead Nurse will provide professional leadership and operational oversight for nursing within the Croydon CAMHS ADHD Pathway, ensuring high standards of clinical care, safety, and performance. Key responsibilities include managing complex and high-risk caseloads, providing supervision and professional development for staff, and leading on quality improvement, audit, and service development initiatives. The post holder will work closely with multidisciplinary colleagues and partner agencies to deliver integrated care, contribute to performance management and governance processes, and act as a visible and accessible clinical leader. The role also includes responsibility for workforce planning, ensuring safe staffing levels, and supporting the achievement of Trust targets and key performance indicators.
