The Role
As Product Manager, you'll lead the development and lifecycle management of a diverse lighting portfolio, acting as the link between engineering, sales, marketing, and operations. You'll use market intelligence, customer feedback, and commercial insight to identify opportunities and deliver innovative products that meet customer needs and business objectives.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering the product roadmap
- Identifying market opportunities through customer and competitor insights
- Managing products throughout the full lifecycle, from concept to launch
- Owning product performance, pricing strategy, and profitability
- Supporting sales teams with product expertise and training
- Engaging with customers, consultants, contractors, and specifiers
- Leading successful product launches with cross-functional teams
- Ensuring products meet relevant industry standards and regulatory requirements
- Driving sustainability and innovation initiatives across the product range
About You
We're looking for someone who combines commercial awareness with technical understanding and a passion for innovation.
You'll ideally have:
· 3-7+ years' experience in Product Management, preferably within lighting or a related technical industry
· Experience managing products from concept through to launch
· Strong commercial acumen and analytical skills
· The ability to understand technical product specifications and customer requirements
· Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
· Experience working within a manufacturing or engineering-led environment
Desirable experience includes knowledge of lighting standards, smart lighting technologies, IoT, controls, or connected systems.
