We are looking for a Passive Fire protection installer to join our professional team of onsite fitters/installers, once trained, you will be responsible for the installation of passive fire stopping products.
The role of a fire protection installer involves the following duties:
- Installing passive fire protection within a structure of a building, such as ablative bat and intumescent adhesives.
- Constructing fire resistant to walls and ceiling linings
- Installing thermal and acoustic insulation, fire seals, cavity barriers and fire-resistant ducting protection
- Using access equipment such as ladders, scaffolds, A frames and scissor lifts
- Following technical drawings and plans
- Adhering to strict health and safety guidelines.
On site training and qualifications given, construction site experience is preferable, cscs card required, pasma and Ipaf training given.
