German-Speaking Sales Representative

The Company
Star Refining (London) Limited is a long-standing (35+ years), global precious metal reclamation company specialising in the dental and jewellery industries. We purchase and recycle scrap material from customers throughout the UK and Europe by offering a better service and paying more than our competitors.
The Role
The successful candidate will be calling and visiting German-speaking clients in continental Europe, predominantly within the dental industry. They will be maintaining an established client base, whilst also focussing on developing and expanding our market share. The role is partly office-based and partly field-based, with an expectation to make 10-20 trips annually to German-speaking territories to purchase material (once training has been completed).
For this position, the candidate should have the following attributes:
- German Speaker (additional language helpful)
- Full and clean driving license
- Telesales/ Face-to-Face sales experience
- Self-motivation
- Great communication skills
- Commitment to developing a customer base
- Great telephone manner
- Good time management
- Ability to work on your own
- Professional approach
- High level of customer service
The Package
Base Salary of £25,000 - £30,000 (depending on experience)
Commission payable at 15% on gross profit
Commission is not capped so there is potential for much higher earnings
Expenses paid on Sales Trips (normally lasting 3 to 4 days on weekdays)
20 Days Holiday p/a plus Bank Holidays & an additional week of August off
