Mobile Mechanic/Technician – Cardiff and surrounding areas
Potential to earn £45,000+ | Full Training | Monday to Friday (Saturdays optional) | Self Employed Position
About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on, mechanically minded person to join our growing team at DPF Fixer as a mobile DPF technician. If you’re confident around diesel vehicles and like the idea of working independently, this could be a great fit.
You don’t need to be an expert in DPFs, we’ll give you all the training you need. What matters most is that you’re practical, reliable, and take pride in doing a job properly.
What the Job Involves
- Visiting customers at their home or workplace to carry out DPF diagnostics and cleaning
- Working from a sign-written van fully equipped with everything you need
- Following a clear process and providing honest, professional service
- Managing your own diary and working independently (with support from head office when needed)
What You’ll Need
- A full UK driving licence
- A good attitude and the confidence to deal with customers
- Self-employed status (or be happy to register)
- Ex-military or forces background? You’d be very welcome here too.
- Some mechanical or automotive experience (garage, mobile mechanic, field engineer, etc.) This is desirable but not a dealbreaker as training is provided.
