Qualified Dental Nurse
Full-Time | 4 Days per Week | Wadebridge
We're looking for a qualified, GDC-registered Dental Nurse to join our friendly and supportive team at our busy, four-surgery private dental practice in Wadebridge.
We are a fully private practice with a reputation for providing exceptional patient care and high-quality dentistry. Our clinicians carry out a wide range of treatments, from routine restorative dentistry to advanced cosmetic procedures, sedation, dental implants and orthodontics, with the support of our experienced in-house specialists.
We're looking for someone who is enthusiastic, motivated and enjoys being part of a close-knit team. Whether you already have experience in cosmetic and implant dentistry or are looking to develop your skills, we'd love to hear from you. We're ideally looking for someone who is available to start in September.
Working Hours - Total hour per week - 36.5
- Monday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Tuesday: 8:00am – 5:30pm
- Wednesday: Day off
- Thursday: 8:00am – 8:30pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm
About the Role
This is a full-time dental nursing position with occasional reception duties when needed. As our practice continues to grow, there will also be opportunities for the successful candidate to progress into a lead role within the nursing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing chairside assistance for a wide range of dental procedures and hygiene appointments.
- Supporting clinicians with restorative, cosmetic, sedation and orthodontic treatments.
- Maintaining exceptional standards of infection prevention and control.
- Following practice policies, protocols and CQC requirements.
- Assisting with audits and compliance tasks.
- Managing stock control and ordering.
- Working closely with the clinical and reception teams to deliver an outstanding patient experience.
- Completing CPD in line with GDC requirements.

Pay: £15.50-£16.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Wadebridge PL27 7AH: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Dental assisting: 1 year (preferred)
- Dental Nursing: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
- Valid GDC registration (preferred)
