Duties
- Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen areas, including floors, work surfaces, and equipment, adhering to health and safety standards
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen tools efficiently to ensure availability for food preparation and service
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks under supervision to support chefs and culinary staff
- Restock supplies such as cutlery, crockery, and ingredients to ensure smooth kitchen operations
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure recycling protocols are followed to uphold environmental standards
- Support the setup and breakdown of kitchen stations before and after service periods
- Follow all hygiene regulations diligently to maintain a safe and sanitary environment for staff and guests
Experience
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen safety procedures is advantageous
