We have Event Steward vacancies available for the right candidate. Variety of shifts but primarily evening and weekend work. Hours and pay rates will be discussed at interview stage with the Event Manager.
We provide security for various high profile events in the North East, including Newcastle, Mowden and Sedgefield Racecourse, Great North Run, Music Festivals, The Cyclone and various others.
Areas:
· Newcastle upon Tyne, Chester-Le-Street, Hartlepool, Darlington
Duties will include:
· To ensure the safety and welfare of the public
· Compliance of the Event Managers instructions
· Control entry
· Control and preflow public on Event sites at times of emergency and ensure the safety from the site.
Applicants Must:
· Have excellent communication and customer service skills
· Be over 18 years of age
· Be able to work alone or as part of a team
· Be polite, courteous and be calm and collective
· Be well presented
· Be well spoken
Advantageous:
· Own Transport
· SIA License
· Experience within the Security Industry
· NVQ Level 2 or above in Event Safety Stewarding
Job Type: Permanent
Pay: £14.24 per hour
