Our kitchen focuses on quality, seasonality and attention to detail, and we are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Breakfast Chef to join our team.
This role is ideal for someone looking for consistent daytime hours within a high-quality hotel kitchen.
Working Hours:
- Wednesday to Sunday
- 7:00am – 12:00 noon
- 25 hours per week

The Role:
As Breakfast Chef, you will take responsibility for preparing and delivering breakfast service for our hotel guests, ensuring consistently high standards of quality, presentation and service.
Your main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Preparing and cooking breakfast dishes to the standards expected at The Pheasant Hotel
- Ensuring breakfast service is organised, efficient and delivered consistently
- Preparing the kitchen and breakfast section ahead of service
- Producing cooked breakfast items to order while maintaining quality and presentation
- Preparing ingredients and mise en place required for the following day's breakfast service
- Ensuring buffet, continental and cooked breakfast items are well presented and replenished as required
- Monitoring stock levels and highlighting shortages or ordering requirements to a senior chef
- Ensuring all ingredients are stored, labelled and rotated correctly
- Maintaining excellent standards of cleanliness, organisation and food safety
- Following all allergen, hygiene and health and safety procedures
- Working closely with the front-of-house and wider kitchen teams to ensure guests receive an excellent breakfast experience
- Working calmly and efficiently during busy periods
- Supporting the wider kitchen team with preparation where required following breakfast service
