Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Glass Collector to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and organisation within our hospitality environment, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail, contributing to the smooth operation of our establishment. Previous experience in hospitality, food preparation, or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as training will be provided. Duties
- Collecting and clearing used glasses, dishes, and utensils from tables and designated areas promptly
- Assisting with the organisation and restocking of glassware and tableware as needed
- Maintaining cleanliness in service areas, including washing and sanitising glassware when required
- Supporting the team with basic food preparation tasks if necessary
- Ensuring all work areas are kept tidy, organised, and hygienic at all times
- Communicating effectively with colleagues to ensure efficient service delivery
- Assisting with general duties around the venue to enhance guest experience
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality is desirable but not mandatory
- Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanour
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Organisation skills to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities within the venue
- Basic understanding of health and safety standards within hospitality settings
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
