Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Semi Skilled Roofer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will assist with roofing projects by performing essential tasks that support the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems. Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation and repair of various roofing systems using hand tools and power tools
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to support project execution
- Support fabrication and cutting of roofing materials to specifications
- Perform heavy lifting of materials and equipment safely across job sites
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
Experience
- Prior construction experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic fabrication techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of roofing practices or experience working with schematics is a plus
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
- Basic understanding of welding, masonry, carpentry, plumbing or related trades is beneficial
- Strong work ethic with a focus on safety, quality, and teamwork
