We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 2 Multi Drop Driver to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to deliver goods efficiently across multiple locations, ensuring excellent service and customer satisfaction. Duties
- Safely operate a Class 2 Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) for multi-drop deliveries across designated routes
- Load and unload goods, ensuring all items are handled with care and secured properly for transit
- Plan delivery routes effectively to meet schedule deadlines while optimizing fuel efficiency
- Conduct daily vehicle inspections, report any maintenance issues promptly, and maintain cleanliness of the vehicle
- Interact professionally with customers during deliveries, providing excellent service and handling any queries or concerns
- Complete delivery paperwork accurately, including delivery notes and logs
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations, traffic laws, and company policies
Skills
- Proven experience as a commercial delivery driver, preferably with multi-drop routes
- Strong driving skills with a valid HGV Class 2 license and manual gearbox experience
- Excellent organizational skills to plan routes efficiently and manage time effectively
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Ability to handle physical tasks involved in loading/unloading goods safely
- A proactive approach to safety procedures and compliance standards.
