About the Role:

We are looking to recruit a reliable and hardworking Kitchen Porter to join our team. You will play a vital role in keeping our kitchen running smoothly by maintaining high standards of cleanliness, supporting our chefs, and helping to ensure an efficient kitchen environment.
Both full-time and part-time opportunities are available for this position, with working hours to be discussed during the interview.
What you'll be doing:
- Washing dishes, utensils, pots, pans and kitchen equipment.
- Keeping all kitchen and food preparation areas clean, organised and hygienic.
- Assisting with basic food preparation as directed by the chefs when needed.
- Receiving, checking and storing deliveries safely.
- Ensuring bins are emptied and waste is disposed of correctly.
- Helping maintain compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
- Supporting the kitchen team wherever needed to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.

What we're looking for:
- A strong work ethic and great attention to detail
- Ability to work both independently and part of a team
- Good organisational skills and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- An understanding of food hygiene and kitchen safety is beneficial, although full training will be provided
- Previous experience in a similar role is desirable but not essential
- Flexible availability as shifts will vary between weekends, weekdays and evenings
