We are seeking energetic and caring Care Assistants to join our team and provide exceptional support to our clients. In this vital role, you will help enhance the quality of life for older people by delivering personalized care services within their homes or care settings. Whether assisting with daily activities or providing companionship, your role will be instrumental in creating a warm, respectful environment for those in your care.
Responsibilities
- Support clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and mobility assistance
- Follow personalized care plans to ensure each client’s specific needs are met effectively and compassionately
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
- Assist with light household tasks like cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation
- Use clear communication skills to interact positively with clients and their families
- Maintain accurate records of care provided and report any changes in client condition promptly
- Drive safely when transporting clients or running errands as required
Experience
Previous experience is preferred but not a necessity; we provide full training and value a warm heart and caring nature above all. We provide comprehensive training to help you develop the skills needed for this rewarding role. However, candidates with experience in home care, working in a care home environment, or familiarity with care plans will find it advantageous. Essential skills include good communication abilities, basic IT literacy for record keeping, and a valid driving license for transportation duties. Fluency in English and strong interpersonal skills are also important to build trusting relationships with clients and their families.
Pay: £14.15-£15.15 per hour
