JOB OVERVIEW
We are a busy cash and carry business seeking an experienced and motivated Retail Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our store.
Key responsibilities:
- Managing daily shop operations, opening/closing routines and the sales floor
- Ordering stock, managing deliveries, stock rotation and inventory counts
- Setting prices, planning promotions and seasonal product ranges
- Supervising and training staff, preparing rotas and setting sales targets
- Overseeing cash handling, till reconciliation and loss prevention
- Ensuring compliance with health and safety and food hygiene standards
- Delivering excellent customer service and resolving complaints
Requirements:
- Proven experience in retail management or supervisory role
- Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
- Good commercial awareness and ability to work to sales targets
- Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as required
Pay: £38,700.00-£41,700.00 per year
