Learning Support Assistant | Perfect for aspiring Psychologists | September start
We are a successful, warm & welcoming Secondary school in the north-east London borough of Waltham Forest, and we are looking to appoint several Learning Support Assistants (LSA) for a September start. This role will involve you working with a small number of SEN students throughout the school. The children you will be working with have needs such as: Dyslexia, Learning & Behavior difficulties and Autism (ASD).
You will be working with pupils on a 1:1 basis, as well as working in the Learning Support Center helping with Maths, English, Science and more activities. Lessons will be pre-planned with a clear outline of what’s expected and where progress is supposed to be made. Your line manager will be the school SENCO, where she will give you clear guidance throughout.

· Learning Support Assistant (LSA)
· Supporting a range of SEN: Dyslexia, Learning & Behavior difficulties and mild Autism (ASD)
· Working alongside class teachers & our SENCO
· 1:1 or group support – (KS3-KS5)
· Additional training provided throughout
· September start - Full Time – Long-Term role – Term Time Only
· £95 - £120 per day

PERSON SPECIFICATION - Learning Support Assistant
· A university degree is essential!
· You must be an outgoing, committed and a passionate individual
· Must be able to use your own initiative
· Good GCSEs and A Level required
· Strong understanding of the Secondary curriculum required
