Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various premises, ensuring a hygienic and welcoming environment. Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services is highly desirable. Working Hours
This is based on a Nil-hour contract with working days Monday-Sunday. We're ideally looking for people that are flexible across these days and expect to be able to offer around 25 hours per week.
Shift range from start and finish times and the typical range being shifts between 8am- 6pm
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces
- Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to high standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and stored properly after use
- Report any maintenance issues or damages to management promptly
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to prevent accidents or hazards
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks when required, including deep cleans or specialised treatments
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial services preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Good physical stamina to perform manual tasks such as lifting and prolonged standing
- Reliable with a strong work ethic and punctuality
- Flexibility to adapt to different cleaning schedules as needed
- A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness
Pay: From £12.71 per hour
