Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and professional Drinks expert for Restaurant 8. Our Chef led restaurant tries to offer unique and interesting drinks pairings, crafted on site, along side a curated wine selection and wine pairings.
Duties
- Produce and deliver a unique and interesting drinks pairing, in collaboration with our Beverage Director
- Work closely with our Operational Support Team to ensure high quality service and efficiency accros the region
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in procedures
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently
- Handle customer enquiries and resolve any issues promptly and courteously
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Process payments accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at all times
- Assist with setting up events or special functions when required
Requirements
- A high level of drinks and wine knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings if necessary
- Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is desirable but not mandatory
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
- Basic numeracy skills for handling transactions and reservations
- A professional appearance and positive attitude are essential
