Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server to join our vibrant hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service in a fast-paced restaurant environment. Duties
- Greet guests warmly and present menus with enthusiasm
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring special dietary requirements are noted
- Serve food and drinks promptly and efficiently, maintaining high standards of presentation
- Provide knowledgeable recommendations to upsell menu items and enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure all tables are cleared, cleaned, and reset in a timely manner
- Assist with food preparation and basic kitchen tasks as required, adhering to food safety standards
- Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of service areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Attend to guest queries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure a positive dining experience
Requirements
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant service is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and basic food preparation skills are advantageous
- Strong organisational skills with excellent time management abilities
- Good communication skills and a friendly demeanour when interacting with guests and team members
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a busy environment
- A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest services and creating memorable experiences
- Flexibility to work during peak hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
