About the Role
We are seeking a passionate, nurturing, and enthusiastic Level 3 Early Years Educator work in one of primary schools based in Sunderland. This exciting role involves working across both mainstream primary school nursery and the 2-year-old provision, supporting children at a crucial stage of their development.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality care and education for children aged 2–4 years.
- Support the planning, delivery, and assessment of activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
- Foster positive relationships with children, parents, carers, and colleagues.
- Promote children's learning and development through purposeful play and child-led experiences.
- Observe, assess, and record children's progress, contributing to learning journeys and developmental records.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
Essential:
- Full and relevant Level 3 Early Years qualification.
- Experience working with children aged 2–5 years in an early years setting.
- Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework and child development.
- A good understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- A caring, patient, and positive approach to supporting young children.
