Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse, contributing to the efficiency of our shipping and receiving processes. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks consistently.
Duties
- Assist with shipping and receiving operations, ensuring accurate documentation and inventory control.
- Load and unload goods from lorries, ensuring safe handling of products.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently (training may be provided).
- Perform heavy lifting as required, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Engage in picking and packing activities, preparing orders for dispatch with precision.
- Maintain an organised warehouse environment by building and stocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and maintain high standards of quality.
Experience
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes is advantageous.
- Experience in heavy lifting and operating forklifts is desirable.
- A strong commitment to safety practices within a warehouse environment is essential.
