Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Dental Nurse/Receptionist to join our dental practice. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly and professionally upon arrival, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Assist with patient care, including preparing treatment rooms and supporting dental procedures as required.
- Manage appointment scheduling, confirmations, and rescheduling to optimise practice efficiency.
- Handle patient records accurately using IT systems, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
- Answer phone calls, respond to enquiries, and communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Support the dental team with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and stock management.
- Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and clinical spaces.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient needs promptly and courteously.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in patient care or nursing is desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates.
- Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Good IT literacy, including familiarity with practice management software.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently.
