Magees Dry Cleaners is a multi award-winning, family-run business with shops in Widnes & Hunts-Cross Due to continued growth, we are looking for a hardworking and reliable individual to join our friendly team on a permanent full-time basis.

Hours of Work
Full-Time
- Monday to Thursday: 9:00am – 5:00pm
- Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm
About the Role
This is a busy, hands-on role within our growing business, working with both domestic and commercial customers. Every day is different, and you'll be responsible for helping process a wide range of garments and household items, as well as laundry from hotels, holiday lets, sports clubs, businesses and other commercial clients.
You'll be involved in every stage of the customer journey, from greeting customers and booking in orders, through to professionally cleaning, finishing and preparing items ready for collection or delivery. You'll play an important part in maintaining the high standards of quality and customer service that Magees is known for.
Key Responsibilities
- Serving customers in store
- Answering telephone and email enquiries
- Booking in customer orders using our computer system
- Processing domestic and commercial laundry
- Washing, drying, ironing and finishing garments and household items
- Operating commercial laundry and dry cleaning equipment (full training provided)
- Inspecting items before and after cleaning to ensure quality standards are met
- Packing and preparing completed orders for collection and delivery
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Delivering outstanding customer service at all times
About You
Washing and ironing form a major part of this role. Applicants must already be confident and experienced in both tasks and be comfortable carrying them out for extended periods while maintaining a high standard.

Previous experience within a laundry, dry cleaning, hospitality or customer service environment would be advantageous, although full training will be provided on all aspects of the role apart from washing and ironing.
