Our fully trained lawn care technicians deliver seasonal maintenance visits, including feeding, weed and moss control, aeration, scarification, and renovations, all backed by ongoing professional advice. We currently support customers across Leicestershire, Rutland, Lincolnshire, Northamptonshire, Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire, and Norfolk, and we’re excited to keep growing.
About the role
We are looking for a determined and outgoing Marketing Manager to join our team at Joe’s Lawn Care, Leicestershire. If you’re a forward thinker, with outstanding interpersonal skills and a strong ability to provide exceptional attention to detail you could be who we’re looking for.
We are looking for candidates who are flexible, creative, adaptable, and reliable. This is an exciting opportunity for anybody wanting to work in the B2C market.
The successful candidate will work directly with the Managing Director on strategy which will play an integral part in building and engaging our customer base via lead generation campaigns. The role is varied, including traditional and digital marketing, a strong understanding and ability to deliver in both areas is key.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the creation of new enquiries, planning, executing and implementing marketing campaigns
- Working with all departments to ensure each marketing campaign runs smoothly and that all content aligns with company brand and objectives
- Manage and grow social media presence whilst maintaining audience engagement
- Providing exceptional customer service to our strong customer base
- Nurturing and building strong relationships with customers, colleagues and management
- Analyse content performance and optimise strategies accordingly using Google Analytics and develop and implement strategies to increase website traffic and generate enquiries.
- Supporting the Managing Director with research, data evaluation and reporting on performance metrics, delivering recommendations and actionable insights
- Develop and design marketing materials, create, copy and update the company website, including blog posts, social media content and all graphics through Canva software
- Create and manage e-marketing campaigns via Mailchimp
- Manage website performance using best practices in SEO and PPC
About the Applicant
The applicant should have experience as a Marketing Manager and ideally be able to demonstrate capability of creating and delivering a marketing plan.
- Able to see a marketing plan through from concept to delivery
- Ability to adapt quickly to change, operate effectively in variety of environments and have the ability to problem solve
- A focused, creative and driven individual, who proactively takes on initiatives and drives projects from start to finish
- The ability to work well within a team and communicate with colleagues, both verbally and in writing, at all levels
- A desire to work in a fun and supportive team
Applicants should have the following:
- Strong organisational skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Degree in marketing or possess CIM level 4 or above
- 3+ years of experience in Marketing Management
- Proficiency in WordPress, Google's Suite, Google Analytics, Google Ads, Mailchimp, Canva or equivalent creative platforms or Microsoft 360.
