Join Our Retail Catering Team at Lincoln County Hospital!
We’re recruiting enthusiastic, flexible team members to work across our busy cafés and restaurants. No two days are the same — you’ll be part of a fast ‑ paced, friendly team delivering great service to patients, visitors, and staff.
We have two full time (37.5hours) post and one 22.5 hour post. The hours will vary from 7am starts to 8pm finishes over a 7 day period and a typical shift will be 7.5 hours. Details of this will be discussed at interview. We offer good enhanced rates of pay for weekend and bank holiday working.
What you’ll be doing:
Serving customers with a smile and delivering excellent service
Making barista style drinks (full training provided)
Preparing and serving food
Keeping areas stocked, clean, and welcoming
Supporting all areas of our retail catering team
We’re looking for people who thrive in busy environments, work well as part of a team, and maintain high standards of personal hygiene and customer care.
Working hours are flexible and will include weekends and bank holidays to meet the needs of the service.
Main Duties of the Job

What we’re looking for:
A team player who can work confidently in a fast paced environment
Someone with excellent personal hygiene and attention to detail
Basic Food Hygiene Certificate (essential)
Barista training (desirable – training can be provided)
Some understanding of HACCP and COSHH (advantageous but not required)

United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust has been granted teaching hospital status, after demonstrating evidence to significant teaching commitment. From now on it will be known as United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust.
Pilgrim Hospital is situated in beautiful countryside and serves the communities in the South Lincolnshire area. It provides all major specialties and a 24-hour major accident and emergency service.
Grantham and District Hospital serves the communities of Grantham and the local area. It provides ambulatory paediatric and accident and emergency services.
Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) and United Lincolnshire Hospitals NHS Trust (ULHT) have come together in a Group arrangement, with the goal of improving the care provided to patients across the county.
This will not constitute a formal merger of the two organisations, but will bring the Trusts together under a single Board and Executive Leadership Team, with the goal of improving the care that is provided to patients both in the community and in hospitals across Lincolnshire. Both Trusts will retain their separate statutory names and legal obligations.
The Group will be known as Lincolnshire Community and Hospitals NHS Group (LCHG).
