Burton Bradstock Primary School is seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team in a combined role: Teaching Assistant (14.5 hours) and Midday Supervisor (3 hours).

Salary Information
Teaching Assistant: Grade 5, SCP 5-6 (£8,624 – £8,761 per annum)
Midday Supervisor: Grade 1, SCP 3 (£1,685 per annum)
About the Roles
We are looking for a professional who demonstrates discretion, empathy, adaptability, and resilience. You should possess strong organisational and communication skills, with a genuine desire to help young people reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities: Support teaching and learning across the school, including working with children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and those on the SEND register.
Requirements: Experience of working with young people in an educational setting, knowledge of subject areas, and an understanding of learning difficulties are advantageous.
We are looking for someone to help create a safe, happy, and engaging lunchtime environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise children in dining areas, classrooms, the playground, and other school premises.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all pupils.
Promote positive behaviour and act as a role model, reporting any serious concerns to senior staff.
Encourage good dining habits and assist with associated duties (e.g., cleaning spillages and clearing tables).
Support school aims, values, and policies, and contribute to staff meetings and training.
Please note: The working pattern for both roles will be discussed at the interview stage and may be subject to change according to business need. A current driving licence and your own transport are essential for travel across the Trust’s multiple sites and schools.
