This is an opportunity to help shape the future direction of Wrexham Foodbank as we continue to challenge poverty and strengthen the support we offer our community.
This strategic role will focus on developing partnerships, enhancing client experience, and raising the profile of our work. You will collaborate with volunteers, referral partners, and external organisations to identify solutions for clients and contribute to long-term sustainability. Fundraising and bid writing will be a key part of the role.
Key Responsibilities
Strengthening volunteer signposting skills
Enhancing the warm welcome offered at our satellite centres
Working collaboratively with referral partners and local organisations
Raising awareness through social media and our website
Contributing to the Wrexham Poverty Action Collaboration
Developing corporate partnerships to support fundraising and food donations
Writing fundraising bids to support long-term sustainability
Key Details
Hours: 25 hours per week, with flexible working opportunities
Contract: Fixed-term for 12 months, with potential for extension
Benefits: Pension contributions paid in full by Wrexham Foodbank; generous holiday entitlement
Salary: £20,761 per annum
Pay: £20,761.00 per year
